The Freedom Tower Miami

2008. On the second floor hangs

a 60 x 20 ft wall mural on canvas

called the New World Mural. It was a

reconstruction completed in 1987.

signed Miami Artisans 1988

We were Wade Foy, John Conroy,William Mark Coulthard

Featured in the documentary "Tower of Dreams" .this Mural has been left undamaged by vagrants and graffiti artists when the building was left empty. However today the art work suffers from the indifference of

the current owners of the Tower. When the Dade Community College takes over ownership of the Tower the 20yr old mural will need restoring. As one of the principle artists, I am expecting the City of Miami to offer this

task to us. with full credit for it's authorship and future respect for it's care and condition.

Woodgraining old doors.The Designed to hide the closet ,or to continue the marble on to the door,anything can happen with paint. The technique of woodgraining is a multi step process that saves not only the cutting of more trees but also the cost of the installation of a new door, When pricing this work we remind our clients that the price of a new door,its installation and the serval coats of paint needed to finish it are the same as or more than the cost of an artist/painter creating a faux painted wooden door. The woodgraining technique was used by the Egyptians.the Japanese and extensively in Europe , where it has been consider an artform in it's own right.

repaint,we take great care in the preparation of surface as we do for the finished product. We work with the client to produce a working sample that leaves little doubt for the final outcome. In
over 12 yrs we have not been asked to paint over something that our clients did not like.

Although we do specialize in artistic finishes, we do regularly take on regular painting contractor requests for repaints , high quality oil brush finishes

and bright work.

Rooms are transformed by color washes and there are no end to the possibilities that paint can acheive with the right design and customer confidence with an artist .Natural motifs of grasses and flowers as boarders are perfect ways to hide difficult textures or transitions. As artists we love to be challenged and even if the project is simply a repaint,we take great care in the preparation of surface as we do for the finished product.
